EEScan - OEM Engine for Linear Wood Scanning
Vanserum Vision is dedicated to the technology that powers linear lumber scanning in the wood processing industry. This includes software for scanner controls, image processing and optimization for cross-cutting, ripping and sorting, plus an in-house designed and built CMOS cameras. Our unique business model is to offer these components as an OEM engine that we call EEScan, allowing our woodworking machinery manufacturer partners to extend their product line quickly with their own brand scanner at low cost. This in turn enables our partners to offer complete production lines to plants and mills without having to rely on expensive third-party scanner suppliers. We work closely with our partners to support and train their sales and technical staff so that they can take full ownership of the scanner as their own machine.
